Key Responsibilities Customer Service: Greeting customers, answering questions, providing recommendations, and resolving complaints. Cashier Duties: Operating the Point of Sale (POS) system, scanning items, handling cash and card transactions, processing refunds, and handling lottery or tobacco sales. Stock Management: Unpacking deliveries, replenishing shelves, checking for expired products, and organizing displays. Store Maintenance: Cleaning floors, shelves, and countertops, removing trash, and ensuring the exterior and interior are presentable. Security & Safety: Monitoring for theft, checking IDs for age-restricted items, and following health and safety regulations. Merchandising: Rotating stock (earliest dates to the front), cleaning shelves, and setting up promotional displays.
