Housekeeping Supervisor

Responsibilities: • Supervise all aspects of the housekeeping operation to ensure the department services are delivered with the aim of exceeding guest expectations to both guests and internal customers. • Optimize productivity and ensure housekeeping operations runs within budgeted financial framework. • Assist in the monitoring and review of quality standards for the department. • Ensure brand standards are adhered to. • Partake in the selection of new associates; conduct regular coaching and development reviews. • Foster a sense of team spirit among the housekeeping associates; ensure engagement and best possible service is provided to internal and external customers. • Ensure all associates work in a safe environment. • Analyze and respond to feedback, guest satisfaction and employee satisfaction information; give a positive commitment to continuous improvement of product and performance. • Effectively communicate with internal departments to ensure guest requests are exceeded. • Monitor payroll reports, work schedules, lost and found program, stock rooms and carts and designated inventories. • Must maintain a professional image and demonstrable leadership skills. • Perform Housekeeping Attendant duties, as needed. • Contribute to performance evaluations as needed. Qualifications: • Minimum three (3) years experience in a housekeeping leadership role in a hotel required. • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work well in an environment with time constraints. • Ability to troubleshoot effectively. • Detail-oriented with good organizational skills, performing work accurately and efficiently. • Demonstrated excellent communication skills, both oral and written. • Strong computer skills, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) • Ability to lift up to 30lbs; sit, stand, walk for an extended period of time to perform work. • Must work a flexible schedule including outside of normal business hours i.e. evenings, weekends and public holidays, as needed Pay Rate: USD$8.00 - USD$14.00 per hour + plus gratuities Benefits: In accordance with Cayman Islands law Location: Hampton By Hilton, Grand Cayman Employment Type: Full Time
