Houseman

We are accepting applications for the following position: HOUSEMAN The Houseman is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the public areas of the hotel, assisting room and laundry attendants, assist maintenance staff and responding to guest requests. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: -Assist housekeepers with related duties including stocking linen carts, changing bed linens, removal of refuse, prepare room supplies; ensure supplies are ready and available. -Provide professional, friendly and attentive service to guests; proactively anticipate guests needs, respond promptly to inquiries and requests. -Be familiar with property amenities and services. -Adhere to cleaning procedures and carry out duties in accordance with health and safety protocols. -Coordinate with various departments to ensure rooms and hotel areas are ready to receive guests; support front desk with room deliveries. -Maintain common areas including hallways, lobby, pool area; undertake deep cleaning projects and floor care as required. -Collaborate and communicate with internal departments to ensure guest satisfaction during their stay. -Properly store inventory of cleaning related supplies including room amenities. -Communicate with others efficiently to ensure all tasks are completed in an effective manner. -Report any observed damage, repairs or replacements required to equipment and/or rooms immediately to Housekeeping Supervisor. -Other related duties may be assigned from time to time. QUALIFICATIONS: -Minimum 1 year of directly related experience in housekeeping within a hotel. -High school or equivalent education required. -Strong multi-tasking and problem solving skills. -Able to effectively deal with internal and external customers. -Able to troubleshoot effectively. -Detail-oriented, performing work accurately, in an organized and efficient manner. -Able to work indoors and outdoors as required to carry out duties; lift up to 30lbs on a regular basis; sit, stand, walk for an extended period of time -Must be comfortable working a flexible schedule and have the ability to work outside of normal business hours including evenings, weekends and public holidays, as needed BENEFITS: In accordance with CI Labour Act Full Time position up to 45 hours per week Location: Hampton by Hilton, Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands
