• Read Blueprints: Follow architectural drawings, specifications, and measurements to lay out projects accurately. • Mix Materials: Combine cement, sand, and water to create mortar or grout of the correct consistency. • Cut and Shape: Use hand tools, chisels, or masonry power saws to trim bricks, blocks, or stones to required dimensions. • Lay and Align: Spread mortar, set bricks or stones, and check vertical and horizontal alignment using levels and plumb lines. • Repair and Restore: Tear down, clean, re-point, and patch damaged or aging masonry work. • Maintain Safety: Follow job-site safety rules, use scaffolding properly, and wear required personal protective equipment
