Warehouse Person

Responsibilities • Receive and unload inventory from trucks and move it to the proper location • Scan delivered items and check them for quality • Sort, organize, and store inventory, including stacking large bulk items • Package and label items correctly • Dispatch and load goods for delivery • Move materials between facilities, workstations, and pick-up locations • Report damaged or missing inventory to supervisors • Update logs and documentation for inventory processing, and prepare records for audits • Keep the workspace and aisles clear of debris and safety hazards • Wear safety gear at all times • Work as an active team member to meet team goals Requirements • 18 years of age or older • High school diploma or equivalent • 2–3 years of work experience as a general laborer, preferably in a warehouse • Valid driver's license with at least 1 year of driving experience • Extensive knowledge of the operating area • Proficiency operating a forklift • Physically strong, agile, and dexterous, and able to lift up to 70 pounds • Comfortable working at heights and in adverse weather • Positive work history and solid attendance • Available to work extended hours • Strong people skills and good moral character • Must pass a background check and drug screening Skills Teamwork, coordination, organization, planning, time management, inventory control, documentation and reporting, data entry, equipment maintenance, and dependability.
