Find a direction from skills you can show
- Accounting clerk — Clerks keep the paperwork behind money moving in and out: invoices, receipts, and simple checks that the figures match. On Cayman ads this work often sits with bookkeeping, accounts payable, or office administration. A professional accounting licence, when an employer wants one, is written on that advertisement. This page does not add a licence the ad did not ask for.
- Administrative assistant — Administrative work is the coordination around other people's jobs: diaries, documents, inboxes, and visitors. Cayman ads for this work show up under administration, office support, and sometimes a named profession such as legal or property support. The ad is the list of duties. A general assistant page cannot tell you the employer's filing rules.
- Customer service advisor — This work is conversations with the public: answering, checking the request, and saying what will happen next. It appears in retail, call centres, utilities, and front desks. You do not need a script from WORCfinder. You do need to avoid promising a refund, waiver, or date you are not allowed to give.
- Hospitality supervisor — Supervisors in hotels, restaurants, and guest services set the order of a shift, watch service, and step in when a guest is unhappy. Food-safety cards, alcohol service, and liquor rules are legal and employer requirements. They appear on the advertisement or in Cayman law. This page does not certify you for any of them.
- Construction tradesperson — Site work on Cayman ads covers carpentry, electrical, plumbing, masonry, painting, and general labour. Tickets and licences are specific. An electrician's advertisement is not a general labour advertisement. WORCfinder will not tell you that you are licensed. Read the trade and the licence line on the ad, and do not apply a ticket you do not hold.
- Healthcare support — Support roles include care assistants, clinic reception, and ward support. Nursing and other regulated professions are separate, and the right to practise is not something this site can confirm. If an ad says registered nurse, enrolled nurse, or a named clinical qualification, only people who hold that registration should claim it.
- IT support — IT support on local ads ranges from resetting passwords and setting up email to looking after a small office network. Vendor certificates are optional unless the advertisement names one. Describe the systems you have actually supported. Do not list a certification you sat beside someone else to watch.
- Retail supervisor — Retail supervisors cover the shop floor, the till, deliveries, and the people on that shift. Cayman ads appear under retail and sometimes under a named store department. Cash-handling claims should describe what you did with the drawer or the safe. Inventory claims should describe counts you actually took.
